"..The important c4 Roman mosaic pavement with a chariot race, discovered in the park in 1796, is now in Hull Museum. It was part of a very large villa.". Photo taken from the DEFRA Open Access land just West of Middlegate Road. For a picture of the mosaic see 235236.
