Feeding suet products to your garden birds provides them with essential high-energy proteins, so it’s important to have at least one type available – in particular if you don’t feed peanuts and especially in the winter months.
Suitable Feeding Methods
Delivery
Orders received by 3pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched via DHL on a no signature delivery service; simply advise us where to leave your bags. We don't deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays.
Some orders less than 1kg in weight will come by Royal Mail.
Orders for Live Mealworms are sent directly from our supplier via Royal Mail. They are dispatched the same day if orders are received by 12pm Mon-Thurs; no orders are dispatched on a Friday. Please allow four working days for orders to arrive.
If you have not received your order within seven working days please contact us on 01775 630208.
We now deliver to all of mainland UK with no extra delivery charge. Please note that some postcode areas that are classed as Scottish Islands and Highlands may take 2-3 working days to arrive. For deliveries outside of these areas a £10 charge will be applied. Postcode areas affected include HS, IV41 – IV49, IV51, IV55 and IV56, KA27 and KA28, KW15 to KW17, PA20, PA41 to PA49, PA60 to PA78, PH42 to PH44, ZE, Isle of Man
We are unable to deliver to the Republic of Ireland or the Channel Islands.

To be fair, the rating is based on my previous order as this one has not yet been opened. However, on this occasion I was impressed to receive an email from the courier within 15 minutes of ordering, stating that they were expecting my order. By 35 minutes the order had been dispatched. Amazing service.

These pellets are obviously far too tasty, and thankfully leave very little residual dust, but I fear that if I keep using them the birds are going to eat me out of house and home. It is reassuring to see how keen the birds are to devour them.

The birds get through these pellets like a plague of locusts. They love them. We have a feeding bowl outside our conservatory doors and we get a huge variety of birds coming in for the pellets, from a pair of nervous Jays who grab what they can and fly off again, to a family of Starlings who arrive like a coach load of drunk football hooligans, squabbling and making a mess everywhere. We also get Pigeons, Thrushes, Magpies, Blue Tits, Sparrows, Robins and Blackbirds. They all love the pellets. Even the Squirrels pop in for a snack each day.

All the birds that visit my garden devour these pellets, I bought from a different supplier when these were out of stock but the birds didn't like them and within a day they all stopped visiting my garden but as soon as I was able to buy again from Vine House, the birds started flocking down again, so obviously the birds know the difference.

There are so many ways of feeding these suet treats - from a mesh peanut feeder (with or without peanuts), mixed with seed or simply on their own from a bird table or the ground. They are a favourite of Blackbirds, Robins, Song Thrushes and Starlings.
